Nokia Addresses Battery Issues of Nokia Lumia 800

Nokia has addressed the numerous complaints stemming from its recently-launched Lumia 800 smartphone, particularly its faulty battery life.

The complaints have created a seven-page thread on the Nokia Support forum, although early reviews of the device do not exhibit such problems, which may indicate that the issue is not applicable to all handsets.

Nokia will deliver two software updates, first in early December and the second in early January, both aiming to improve power efficiency and battery life. Both updates will be made available through Zune.

“A software update in early December will include improvements to power efficiency, while a second update in early January introduces further enhancements to battery life and battery charging,” Nokia announced in a press statement.
